The biggest lie in tour platforms is "local experiences" delivered by whoever answered the gig app that morning. We run it the other way round: you'll know your host's name and background before you pay a deposit, and the person in your WhatsApp is the person at the arrival hall.
Who we are today
A small Chongqing team. Starting small on purpose.
CQ Buddy is a young, independent company built in Chongqing — by people who grew up here and by a founder who arrived as a foreigner and remembers exactly how the first night felt. We're in our first season, which means two honest things: we're still collecting our first verified reviews, and every single guest gets founders-level attention, because the founders are the ones doing your welcome.
As our host team grows, real names, photos and language profiles appear here — never stock photos, never borrowed faces.

Airport meet, check-in help, payment setup, food ordering — every host runs the same playbook, then earns freedom to improvise within it.
No commissions. Ever.
Hosts are paid per service, properly, above the agency-guide market rate. They are forbidden from taking a single kuai of commission from shops — and so are we.

Every review on our site is tied to a completed, verifiable order. A host with slipping ratings gets retrained or let go.

We're building a small host bench across the languages our guests actually speak. You set availability around your own life; we handle bookings, training and payments. Per-service pay is discussed openly at interview and is deliberately above what agencies pay guides.
